St. Joseph’s Hosting Alzheimer’s Support Group and Family Forum for Caregivers

Huger Mercy Living Center at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center has created an Alzheimer’s family forum and support group for caregivers.

The two programs offer support
and education about Alzheimer’s disease and dementia for people who are caring for a loved one afflicted with the condition. Both programs are free and open to the public. Please RSVP by calling Joy Faix at 602-406-5600.

Quarterly Family Forum

Location:           Huger Mercy Living Center
2645 W. Orangewood Ave. in Phoenix

Date:                Saturday, April 4th

Time:                11 a.m. to noon

Details:             Guest speaker Fran Adkinson, an ombudsman will the Area Agency of Aging, will be discussing the topic "What is an Ombudsman?" A networking session and a light lunch will be provided.


Alzheimer’s Support Group

Location:           Huger Mercy Living Center
                                2645 W. Orangewood Ave. in Phoenix

Date:                The third Sunday of every month

Time:                11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Details:             Support group members are welcome to bring their loved one with Alzheimer’s disease to the meetings. Lunch will be provided.
