ENDING ALZHEIMER’S

Researchers from the Arizona
Alzheimer’s Consortium need
your help as they race to better understand the disease and
identify prevention and treatment
strategies. By participating in a
clinical research study, you can
play a meaningful role in the fight against Alzheimer’s.

Dementia is a general term that describes many diseases that
involve memory impairment.
Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form, affecting about 10% of people 65 years and older and nearly 50% of people 85 years and older.

More than 78,000 people in Arizona suffer from Alzheimer’s. It robs its victims of their memory and their ability to think, communicate and carry out basic tasks.
