RESEARCH STUDIES

The Consortium member institutions
conduct a wide variety of clinical  research studies. Some studies do not involve treatment: these monitor thinking and memory over time, and sometimes involve brain imaging. Other studies test treat-
ments such as medications or vaccines aimed at preventing Alzheimer’s or slowing its progression.

Below is a list of the types of studies that are offered at the Consortium institutions.
  • Studies for early memory problems and cognitive impairment
  • Studies of treatments at all stages of Alzheimer’s disease
  • Studies of tools and tests to diagnose dementia or measure brain function
  • Studies investigating strategies to prevent Alzheimer’s disease
Currently, several studies are enrolling new participants. Please call us at: 602.839.6500 for a complete list.
